Hi, I am Baylie Meyer, the face behind BAM Candid.

I am an 19 year old equine photographer and rider from Florida. I currently attend the University of South Florida in Tampa for Psychology! I grew up loving animals and always wanted to do something surrounding them when I was older. I moved to Florida from Massachusetts when I was 8 and went on my very first horseback riding lesson when I was 10. I immediately fell in love with horses and wanted to learn to jump. As I got older I stuck with riding and jumping and now I show in hunters and equitation on my horse, Aukland!

I got into photography by finding some of my moms old cameras and lenses from when she used to do photography. I originally just played around with it and took pictures of my horses and my pets. Eventually I wanted to take pictures of other people riding, so I upgraded my lens and began to take photos at shows. I made an Instagram and Facebook page for my photos and came up with the name "BAMcandid" after my name, Baylie, my horses name, Aukland, and my first horses name, Mocha. I have so much fun taking photos and capturing the joy on others faces. Photography brings happiness to my life and I hope to grow my business and spread more love through photos.
